Awka Based Engineer Shoots EFCC Officers In A Dead Of The Night Operation

Information reaching us has it that officers of the EFCC who went for a dead of the night operation in the outskirts of Ifite Awka Anambra State were shot by the individual whom his home was invaded.

This event took place at around 10 pm in the night, two officers were allegedly shot at with one dying on the spot and other badly injured.

Further information we got alleged that the gun used to shot at the EFCC officers is a licensed gun and the officer who lost his life is set to Wed next two weeks

Both the shooter and the surviving officers of the EFCC are both in police custody as it is alleged that it was an illegal operation.

We await more information from the Police on this sad development.
