Trarrk, a rising African EdTech startup that is changing the landscape of special education and developmental progress tracking, has officially joined the NVIDIA Inception Program. This global accelerator supports startups that use AI and deep technology to tackle real-world issues.
Founded by Nnanweobi Ikechukwu Augustine (CEO) and Boluwatife Oladejo (CTO), Trarrk is transforming how children with special needs are assessed, supported, and monitored across Africa through smart, data-driven solutions.

What is Trarrk?
Trarrk is an AI-powered inclusive education platform designed to help schools, therapists, and parents work together to support children with developmental differences such as autism, ADHD, dyslexia, Down syndrome, and learning delays.
With Trarrk, therapists can perform digital assessments, automatically create personalized Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), and track progress daily across ten developmental areas, which include physical and cognitive development, behavior, communication, and academics.
The platform improves communication between schools and families. This ensures that every child’s learning journey is clear, measurable, and informed by real-time insights.
Joining the NVIDIA Inception Program
Joining the NVIDIA Inception Program is a major step for Trarrk’s growth and innovation.
The program offers startups access to:
– Up to $100,000 in GPU cloud credits for AI model training and simulation.
– Technical mentorship from NVIDIA’s AI and engineering experts.
– Global visibility and partnership options with other impactful AI startups.
– Advanced tools and infrastructure to speed up AI development and grow efficiently.
– Access to Potential Investors
This partnership allows Trarrk to enhance its AI-driven assessment and IEP-generation engine. It aims to deliver faster, smarter, and more precise educational insights for neurodiverse learners.
Nnanweobi Ikechukwu Augustine, CEO of Trarrk, said, “This partnership with NVIDIA Inception will help us build Africa’s most powerful AI infrastructure for special education. Here, data meets empathy, and technology empowers inclusion.”
Boluwatife Oladejo, CTO of Trarrk, added, “Our goal is to create intelligent systems that help teachers and therapists provide personalized education for every child, regardless of where they live.”
A Vision Rooted in Impact
Africa has over 50 million children with disabilities, but less than 6% attend school regularly (UNICEF, 2023). Many families struggle to access therapists or inclusive classrooms, leaving millions behind in education and social development.
Trarrk’s mission is to close this gap by combining AI, data science, and inclusive education strategies. This approach ensures that every child’s progress can be tracked, supported, and celebrated.
The platform is already gaining traction with pilot partnerships in Nigeria and Kenya, along with collaborations with special needs educators, therapists, and advocacy groups.
The Founders Behind the Vision
Nnanweobi Ikechukwu Augustine, Founder & CEO, is a researcher in inclusive education and a social entrepreneur. He is dedicated to creating adaptive, data-driven tools for children with special needs in underserved African communities.
Boluwatife Oladejo, Co-Founder & CTO, oversees Trarrk’s AI engineering and technical development. He has extensive expertise in scalable backend systems and machine learning platforms, working to integrate these technologies into Africa’s special education landscape.
Together, they lead a diverse team of therapists, engineers, and data specialists focused on making inclusive education accessible, measurable, and fair.
Looking Ahead
With support from NVIDIA, Trarrk plans to extend its reach to over 15 African countries within five years. It also aims to incorporate more advanced AI analytics for learning patterns and work with education ministries to create data-informed inclusion policies.
Joining NVIDIA Inception is a significant milestone. It validates Africa’s growing influence in AI for social good and shows that technology created in Africa can inspire the world.
