Christmas activities have peaked at various Parks, Markets, Roads, and other public places today in Awka and environs, as people get ready for tomorrow, the 25th of December, 2021.
This was observed when our reporters visited some places to monitor level of activities.
At the parks including TRACAS park at Unizik junction Awka, Star Sunny park at Arroma Awka and others, though people were complaining of hardship in Nigeria presently, many were observed travelling to their various destinations, probably to celebrate the Christmas with their families, loved ones and friends.
A lot of travellers were seen stranded at the parks, as there were limited vehicles to convey people to their destinations.
At Eke-Awka market, We met the market very busy more than ever, as sellers, buyers and vehicles dragged with each who will use the road in the front of the market.
Our crew also visited Nkwo Amaenyi Awka and roadside shops at Unizik junction Awka where people were also seen buying things to celebrate the Christmas with.
