Today 1st of April 2021 marked a new dawn for information and Communication Technology in Onitsha as EdufunTech roled out graduates of the Queen Afrique Academy which trained 25 young girls of ages 16 to 25 years in Social Media Management, Computer Coding, Website Design, Business Development, App Development and lots more.
This program was developed by the C.E.O. of EdufunTech Uche Onwuamaegbu who coincidentally is the brain behind the Anambra School girls who triumphed in Silicon Valley United States of America when they developed and app that detects fake malaria medicine which made them world champions.
Anambra Frontiers whom are a group of young minds working to bring back Onitsha to its glory days helped facilitate the program, This program was sponsored by Tiger Foods and it lasted for 6 weeks which was full of intense training.
According to the facilitators they intend doing this training for a larger number of young girls and plan to run it 4 times in one calendar year and are pleading for more cooperate bodies and individuals to borrow a leaf from tiger foods to help develop Anambra as a whole tech wise.
