A foremost Nigerian educator Mrs. Veronica Osanakpo has unveiled her debut novel – The Space Between. The launch event, which held in Onitsha – the commercial capital of Anambra State, was well attended by dignitaries from all works of life including Mr. Peter Obi, Labour Party’s Presidential Candidate in the 2023 general election.
Mrs. Veronica Osanakpo, a distinguished educator with over three decades of experience, has dedicated her career to teaching , counselling and inspiring countless learners. Her expertise spans various educational programs in Nigeria and abroad, earning her recognition as a respected and sought-after educator.
The author is the proprietress of Mount Olive School (M.O.S.) – a government approved privately owned school (nursery/primary) which was founded over 20 years ago. M.O.S. was established to help provide more qualitative and functional education for children with the capacity and potentials for education . The school at its inception, had an enrolment of 30 pupils, a teaching staff of 8 and one cleaner. Currently , the school boasts of over 750 pupils, with a teaching staff of 70 and 15 non-tutorial staff, and has stopped at nothing at achieving academic excellence. In October 2017, following growing requests by parents for continuity for their children (post-primary education) in M.O.S. led to the establishment of Mount Olive College, Umunya, Anambra State. The College is equipped with physical, educational and environmental facilities to meet the school’s vision which is to provide world class education at that level, a sure pathway to university education and life after that.
