Awka Building Collapse
A Two Storey building Under construction has collapsed in the Capital city of anambra state Awka, Building is located adjacent Central Bank Awka Office.
Cause of the collapse is unknown as officials from the Building Authority in the state refused the press any comments stating lack of clarity on the whole situation as their reason.
According to Eye witness some workers at the building site were able to make it out in time before the building collapsed,Uncertain number of people are trapped inside and about 3 people who sustained injuries are currently receiving medical attention at the State owned medical facility.
A lot of questions abound for the appropriate authorities but the most obvious one is “Why are buildings collapsing too often in anambra and who is to be blamed”
