The Acting Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Anambra State Chukwudi Umeada has annulled the ward congress preceding the Governorship Primaries.
The Chairman who was recently reinstated by an Abuja High Court ruling which state that he is the authentic acting chairman of the Party in the State.
The Party whose has a faction led by Chief Ndubuisi Nwobu held a ward congress on Friday for its Governorship Primary Election which is to be held on June 26th 2021, The newly reinstated chairman held a press conference yesterday where he stated ” I here by suspend the ward congress to elect a three man Adhoc committee for the Governorship Primaries, I will contact the NEC of our great party to give me a new date for the ward congress that will elect the three-man Adhoc committee for the Governorship Primaries”
The Factional Chairman urged the party members to take the party of peace and remain calm for further new positive developments that would ensure the growth of the party in the state and nationally.
