The Nigerian Police Force has announced the deployment of a New Commissioner of Police to the State in the person of Mr Chris Owolabi, He replaces Mr Monday Bala Kuryas.
According to the announcement by the Force, This is in reaction to the Huge insecurity level in the state that has resulted to loss of high number of lives and properties worth huge amount of money, the force command now decided to overhaul the Police architecture of the South East and South South Geo-Political zones.
Prior to his deployment Mr Chris Owolabi was the Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of Finance and Administration in the Anambra State Police Command.
The Former Commissioner of Police Mr Monday Bala Kuryas has be redeployed to the Anti-Fraud Section of the Force Headquarters Annex Lagos.
