Last Night at about 9pm we got information that the popular foodstuffs market in Okpuno-Egbu Nnewi have been gutted by fire.
This sad incident razed down hundreds of shops which are mostly makeshift structures, the Anambra State Fire Service arrived just in time to stop the fire from spreading into structures surrounding the market.
This is really a very sad way to start the year for the traders.
