A New Vice Chancellor has been elected in Nnamdi Azikiwe University and he is Prof. A.U. Nnoyelu.
He defeated other contenders in a keenly contested election scoring 132 votes.
Prof. A.U. Nnoyelu is an indigene of Awka and A Professor of Sociology and Anthropology in the Faculty of Social Sciences at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University.
With the Tenure of the Acting Vice Chancellor appointed by the Visitor to the University expiring next week a new Vice Chancellor had to be elected and the result of the election are as follows;
