One of the leading opposition parties in Anambra State, The People’s Democratic Party PDP has cleared all the 16 aspirants that purchased the nomination forms for the party’s primaries for November 6 governorship election.
The screening Committee released its report and cleared the 16 of them.
They are;
1. Mr. Winston Ndubueze Ude
2. Dr. Ifedi Okwenna
3. Dr. Godwin Maduka
4. Dr. Ugochukwu Ubah
5. Barr. Emeka Etiaba
6. Chief. Chuma Nzeribe
7. Chief Maduafokwa Olisakwe
8. Chief Godwin Ezeemo
9. Mr. Valentine Ozigbo
10. Engr. Chris Azubogu
11. Mr. Okeke Walter Ubaka
12. Mrs. Chidi Onyemelukwe
13. Dr. Obiora Okonkwo
14. Mrs. Ekwochi Genevieve
15. Dr. Tony Nwoye
16. Senator Uche Ekwunife
But after clearing the 16 aspirants, the screening Committee in its report asked the leadership of the party to persuade the aspirants to find a way of trimming down their numbers before the primaries scheduled for June 26, to create an environment free of rancor.
