Soludo’s Inspiring Example
By Izuchukwu Adichie
Allow me to take a quick trip down memory lane. In January 2021, I had the opportunity to meet my principal and leader, Governor Soludo, at the Women Development Center in Awka. He was there to engage with a select group of individuals as part of his consultation for the governorship seat. As he entered, greeted everyone, and took his seat, I couldn’t help but notice not only his impressive appearance but also the strong sense of purpose that surrounded him. This initial impression of a man on a mission has proven to be accurate in the following years.
Since then, Soludo’s government has powerfully shown that holding the position of governor should not be viewed as a personal accomplishment, but rather as an opportunity to positively impact the lives of the people who have entrusted you with their well-being. It is about using your authority to improve the overall welfare of the state through compassionate and selfless leadership during your time in office. Most importantly, it requires a deep understanding that it is your responsibility to leave a lasting, positive impact on humanity. His exemplary style serves as an inspiration and a model, particularly for his fellow governors in office and for those who will assume leadership roles in the future.
I have followed and reported on the commendable works that my principal, Governor Soludo, has been carrying out in our beloved state. Am highly satisfied with the progress that has been achieved so far and know that Ndi Anambra is happy and proud of his sterling performance. Ndi Anambra is well aware of the state’s previous infrastructure challenges and can see the significant improvements that have been made. Our people can not stop commending Soludo for effectively distributing developmental projects across all three senatorial districts of the state – Anambra Central, Anambra North, and Anambra South.
