Ogbunka community in orumba south local government area has finally crowned a king after so many years of chieftaincy tussle and fight of who wears the royal crown of the town.
This epoch making event took place on the 5th of December 2020,A Ruler was elected as enshrined in the constitution of the town and His Royal Majesty, Igwe Dr. Foster Ihejiofor emerged as the choice of the community.
In his reaction he highly regretted the number of years the town had no leadership as it put the development of the town at a halt,he further stated that he he will do the best he can to bring the town to limelight.
While contributing the Professor Promise Nwachukwu Okpala who is the immediate past Chairman of the board of National Examination Council (NECO) and an Indigene of the town congratulated the new traditional ruler on his emergence and promised to give his support to the new leadership,this event attracted dignitaries both indigenes and non indigenes of the town.
