Soludo Fan Club Decorates Her First Pillar.

It was a joyful moment yesterday evening at GoldTouch Hotel and Suites, Udoka Housing Estate, Awka as the Think Thank of Soludo Fan Club gathered to decorate her first pillar Prince Neville Uchendu (Mayor Atlanta).
Making his opening remarks, the Coordinator of the Fan Club Hon. Engr. Julius Chukwuemeka explained the essence of having pillars for this unique club.
“When you look around this building, you see a beautiful edifice, you see decorations and aesthetics but you barely see the pillars but they hold this house so it won’t collapse” the Coordinator said.
Explaining the reason for assembling together as a fan club, the Coordinator also pointed out the 3 objectives of the group to the pillar which include, but not limited to :
1. Reconciling the aggrieved party members and bringing them back to the party.
2. Using every positive means to win over aggrieved members from other political parties since politics is a game of numbers.
3. Preaching to the undecided which includes market people, lecturers and other youths out there on the need to be part of making a special Governor for ndi Anambra.
“These 3 objectives is what made this Soludo Fan Club a very unique support group and we are going to work very hard to achieve it” the Coordinator said.
In his response, Chief Neville expressed his joy over the objectives of the group and also pledged his support. He made it known to the group that the person they are working for, Prof Chukwuma Soludo is a man who has achieved a lot but would rather not blow his trumpet.
He urged Soludo Fan Club who he described as professionals as there is no political job seeker among them, to stick to these objectives and work very hard for Prof Chukwuma Soludo’s Candidature.
He then accepted to be decorated as the Pillar of Soludo Fan Club.
On his own part, Chief Chinedu Nwoye (Glamour) the Coordinator of all Soludo Support Group thanked the group for coming together and reviving the name Soludo Fan Club which was initially used to work for Prof Chukwuma Soludo in 2010.
He urged every member of the group to be resourceful because that’s the only way to work with the Prof.
The Anambra South Zonal Chairman of All Progressive Grand Alliance, Barr. Bennett Ibekwe, who was also present in the event expressed great satisfaction as he said that Soludo Fan Club has unique objectives and he believed that the club will fill a lot of political gaps.
The event was closed with photo sessions of the Fan club with the pillars.
