Unknown Gunmen Attack Civil Defence Officers in Umueri

Unknown Gunmen yesterday struck again in Anambra and Hit a Civil Defence Checkpoint Manned by Men of Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps at Eke Nenyi Umeri.

This attack hit a team of 6 officers leaving 3 dead and the other 3 escaping with serious injuries from bullet wounds and burning the patrol vehicle.

These series of attacks have indeed touch almost all the security Agencies in Anambra, from the police to the Military to Correctional Officers to Vigilante and now the Civil Defence, just a couple of weeks ago it was the Vigilante Services in Ozubulu.

This menace is fast bringing the state to Its Knees Security Wise and the Government Should rise to its primary responsibility which is the Security of Lives and Properties
