The Independent National Electoral Commission INEC has yesterday after it’s meeting in preparation for the Anambra State Governorship Election released a notice in recognition of Mr Valentine Ozigbo as the Governorship Candidate of the People’s Democratic Party.
According to the commission this in respect to the court order from the Appeal Court Awka Division which they were served.
The commission also stated that it has rescinded it’s earlier decision to use its zonal office in Owerri as storage for the non sensitive materials for the Anambra Elections and have reverted to using its office in Awka, they said its earlier decision was as a result of the uncertainty in completion of its office in Awka which was attacked sometime ago but it’s now clear that the reconstruction will be completed just in time to be used for the storage.
