Residents of Awka woke up to the cutting of vehicular movement on some part of Ziks Avenue Awka which houses the Nigeria Correctional Service Prison and Headquarters of The Anambra State Command of the Nigerian Police.
This has caused the residents some level of suffering as vehicle are forced to use alternative routes which are not really motorable and people who have business around these areas to trekk quiet some distance in other to get to their various destinations,as seen in the pictures below people now have to resort to using their feet to walk distance which dey are presumably supposed to go using either their private vehicles or commercial means of transportation.
This act is perceived to be in response to the attack on their facilities in owerri Imo state but should the innocent citizenry suffer for it.
Are the Nigeria Correctional Service and the Nigerian Police doing the right thing by making this move
