The Government of Anambra State has received the first set of returnees from Jos, Plateau State who were caught up by the ethno- religious crisis currently bedeviling the state.
The Returnees were received by The State Commissioner For Information and Public Enlightenment Mr C. Don Adinuba and The President General Anambra State Association of Town Unions Bar. Titus Akpudo, they were received at the G.U.O. Transport Park in Awka.
This return was made possible through the partnership of Anambra State Government and G.U. Okeke Transport Company Limited, according to the State Commissioner for transport while speaking he said this the first out of many arrangement for returning back to Anambra that the state government have made and they will give the returnees the support they need to settle down.
