Reports getting to us has it that movement have been restricted in some major towns of Anambra in solidarity to the appearance of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra IPOB Mazi Nnamdi Kanu in court today in Abuja for his trial after he was brought back into the country.
Videos and images emerging from Nnewi and Onitsha Metropolis shows that movements have been restricted and business shutdown with people staying back in their homes today, some people have decided to stay indoors as a result of the fear of the unknown.
In sharp contrast Awka the state capital has things going normally, people are moving about freely, businesses and offices are open for their usually daily dealings.
