Njoku or N’joker?
BY IZUCHUKWU Adichie
The All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), like many political parties in Nigeria, has had its share of villains and imposters whose only intent is to cause internal political wrangling. Among these, Edozie Njoku and outcasted Chekwa Okorie stand out as mere political jokers who have somersaulted into politics with many deceits, blackmail of relevant government agencies, and lacking ethical principles. They seem to think they can do anything and get away with it.
Listening to the undisputable APGA National Chairman, Barr Sly Ezeokenwa on Arise TV last night, where he presented all the legal facts before the court of public opinion and raised relevant questions for INEC to provide a court order that announced one Edozie N’joker as non-existing party’s national chairman, one may wonder why this proxy N’joker is still walking freely in Nigeria instead of being in prison for deceiving the electoral commission. He should not be walking freely!
I believe that Chekwas Okorie and Edozie N’joker are aware that they have never succeeded and can not succeed in the current political terrain. As people who are not authentic, they know that they are merely proxies for a few political opportunists. They are akin to traditional jesters who have become deluded by their self-importance. N’joker’s delusion has never been a real threat to APGA’s ambitions under Barrister Sly Ezeokenwa, the national chairman.
