The Evening of 27th April came with the news of the attack of the Nigerian Navy Checkpoint along Onitsha Owerri Road and sporadic shooting by the Men of the Nigerian Navy to scare the Enemy which ultimately led to the Death of a Six year old boy who was hit by a stray bullet from the shooting.
This Attack has led to the Nigerian Navy blocking several roads in the Area which invariably has inflicted some level of suffering for people who are using these roads.
Reports reaching us have it that the Navy has blocked the Road from Uga Junction
Reports also have it that the men of the Nigerian Army have left their primary duty whom they are supposed to protect and started inflicting pain on them which is reported by a Twitter handle which covers activities in Onitsha Metropolis by name @ConnectOnitsha
