Soludo set to become the first Anambra governor to dualize federal roads
By Izuchukwu Adichie
Soludo’s name will be etched in history as the first-ever Anambra governor to dualize federal roads through the State Ministry of Works. With his fearless attitude towards progress, Soludo has embarked on the dualization of the Amawbia -Agulu -Nanka -Uga federal roads, proving his commitment to improving the state’s transportation infrastructure and bequeathing an enduring road network to ndi Anambra.
Unlike others, Soludo is not one to shy away from taking bold steps towards development. The Amawbia – Agulu – Nanka – Uga federal roads primarily used by Ndi Anambra are now redesigned for reconstruction to facilitate economic growth via improved commercial, industrial, and agricultural activities across the areas they cut through. The roads connect Awka to Anaocha, Aguata, Orumba, and Imo state.
Thanks to Soludo, traveling through Anambra roads is no longer a herculean task as it used to be. As the light of the nation, he has brought illumination to the state of our roads, with an unprecedented 247km of roads asphalted out of the ongoing construction of 450 km of roads, as well as the rehabilitation of dilapidated portions of federal roads across the state in his first two years in office, allowing Ndi Anambra to fully enjoy the dividends of democracy.
