The Governor of Anambra State Chief Willie Obiano today visited Eke Awka Market and Banks in Awka to ensure that activities are not disrupted after the gave an ultimatum that businesses should be opened after the Independent People of Biafra refused to discontinue its Civil Disobedience in the South Eastern Part of the Country.
The encouraged traders in Awka to come out of fear of their wears being destroyed on physical harm being inflicted on them by hoodlums and people asking them to stay in their homes, he went further to tell them that their safety will be guaranteed as the government will provide enough security to deal with any person who causes any form of harm to them or try to disrupt business activities in the market.
He also visited various banks that are located in the state capital to ensure smooth running of activities and encouraged Anambrarians to come out and go about their businesses as whatever non-existent threat being dished out will be seriously dealt with if it tries to raise its ugly head.
He also went further to visit the commercial city of Onitsha as the Governor addressed traders in Ajasa and Old Market Road respectively.
