Yesterday the Governor of Anambra State Prof. Charles Soludo made a State broadcast where he made known the security measures the state will be taking in order to put to an end the current terrorism bedeviling the state.
He place a ban on Keke, Bikes and Keke in 8 local governments which are the current areas these attacks are at its pick,
-• Any community/individual lands used as camps by terrorists will be forfeited to govt.
– • Use of tricycle, motorcycle & shuttle buses banned on Monday through out the state till further notice.
-• A 6pm-6am curfew imposed on Keke/shuttle buses in Aguata, Orumba North, Orumba South, Nnewi North Nnewi South, Ekwusigo, Ihiala and Ogbaru Local Government Areas til further notice.
-• Operation know your tenant/landlords. Any house linked to arson, kidnapping, gun running, drugs, raping, murder, etc to be confiscated by govt.
-• 1m bounty on anyone who provides information on those hyping, cheering, supporting unknown gunmen.-• Compulsory CCTV to be installed in all gas stations & weekly footage submitted to security agencies.
