Aguata Local Government Council headed TC Chairman Dr Chibueze Ofobuike has partnered with Rural Women Foundation an NGO to provide a borehole for the primary health centre located inside the local government headquarters in Ekwulobia
This was made public in a press statement by the TC Chairman which states as follows;
I am delighted to announce that through the intervention of the Rural Women Foundation, we have constructed a water scheme at the Aguata Local Government Area Secretariat Primary Healthcare Centre, It is fulfilling to witness another impact of our effort to attract opportunities through partnership, We are grateful to the Rural Women Foundation for this gesture, and we will ensure that the water scheme serves the need of the centre.
The Rural Women Foundation is an NGO focusing on rural women, the girl-child, women living with HIV/AIDS, out of school youth and orphans.
The project was executed by Gerafadan Nigeria Limited – a trusted and indigenous geological outfit owned by Okpalauzuegbu Afam, with records of successful water scheme projects within and outside Aguata.
