Prof Charles Chukwuma Soludo of the All Progressive Grand Alliance has been declared winner of the Anambra State Governorship Election.
This was announced by about 1:52 am on the 10th of November 2021 by the Returning Officer of the Election and Vice Chancellor of the University of Calabar Prof. Mrs Florence Banku Obi.

Total votes cast- 249,631
Total valid votes- 241,523

The Candidate satisfied the necessary criteria need to declare him winner, having scored the highest number of votes, winning in 19 of the 21 local government areas of the state and garnering more the 25% of the entire votes cast in the election.
This victory was delayed as the result of the election was not concluded on Sunday 7th of November and was subject to the conducting of a supplementary election in Ihiala LGA where election did not hold on the 6th of November 2021.
